Large majolica jug. Approx 9 inches or 230mm high. Very decorative jug in the style of the aesthetic movement, possibly by Thomas Forester. Moulded with herons etc. amongst foliage and handle and rims moulded to resemble bamboo. Probably 1880's.
Ideal for brightening up an afternoon on the lawn but beware as this jug will be very heavy when full up with Pimms
